Because CSR is ESSENTIAL, now and for the future, we involve our teams in this issue, implementing specific actions with them on a daily basis.

Our environmental
initiatives

We are reducing our carbon footprint:

  • Eco-friendly hospitality products in our rooms
  • Eco-friendly cleaning products
  • Single-use plastic is banned.
  • Soap and shampoo dispensers are installed in our bathrooms.
  • Our bedroom linen is eco-friendly and our bedding eco-designed.
  • Environmentally sustainable materials are used in refurbishments.
  • Water fountains have been installed and all our staff are issued with water bottles.
  • Unnecessary printing is avoided: documents are sent electronically.
  • Using both sides of the paper and the use of scrap paper are encouraged.
  • Waste sorting is carried out in restaurants, common areas and offices.
  • Food waste is avoided, waste is reused.
  • We have joined “Too Good To Go” to rescue unsold items from breakfasts and seminar breaks.
  • Palm oil has been removed from products we serve, including our own production.
  • Food oils are recycled.
  • Composting bins are in use.
  • Coffee capsule recycling is carried out.
  • We have partnerships with ‘green’ taxis and providers of ‘green and local’ activities.
  • Environmentally-friendly transport is promoted by our teams for guests and colleagues alike.

We are reducing our energy consumption:

  • LED lighting is fitted throughout our establishments.
  • Electricity saving boxes are installed in rooms.
  • Lights per floor are managed according to occupancy.
  • Switches on the windows automatically cut off air-conditioning if the windows are opened.
  • Aerators are installed on bathroom taps to save water.
  • Shower heads are eco-friendly.
  • Electric charging points are available in our car parks.
  • Solar shading projects are in progress.
  • The outdoor signs of our hotels are switched off between 11 pm and 6 am.

We promote short supply chains and biodiversity:

  • The produce served and cooked in our restaurants is local, often organic and ethical.
  • A number of our restaurants have been awarded a short supply chain certification (100% from the Côte d’Or region).
  • Our suppliers are local.
  • We have beehives in Dijon and Chalon-sur-Saône that produce the honey we serve.

We inform, train and involve our staff:

  • CSR champions meet once a quarter to debate, propose and act.
  • A CSR charter, developed jointly with the CSR champions, is given to all new staff members.
  • Face-to-face, Visio and e-learning courses on the subject of sustainable development are offered to staff.

Our environmental
initiatives

We care about the diversity of our teams: 

  • We recruit different profiles from all walks of life to ensure that our teams are inclusive and complementary. Diversity is a strength: age, gender, education, background, disability, personality, etc.
  • We guarantee gender equality indexes in recruitment, training, remuneration and career development.

We are committed to supporting associations and causes that are important to us, through donations and the giving of our time:

  • Pink October, breast cancer awareness month
  • For Hugo, a child with a severe motor disability
  • 100 chances 100 jobs, vulnerable young people side-lined from employment
  • EFS, the French blood collection agency

We are founding members of the “solidarity days” corporate collective.

We train : “climate fresco” sessions are deployed to our teams.
