Hôtels Bourgogne Qualité
Group

Dijon,
cradle of the Group’s history

With its unique savoir-faire and high quality of service, discover the Hôtels Bourgogne Qualité Group. Founded in 1928, in Burgundy, under the impetus of Alain Jacquier, followed by his son, Patrick and grandchildren, Caroline and Anthony, the Group quickly grew and continued its expansion into Paris. In 1954, at the age of 18, Alain Jacquier took over the Hotel Ibis Styles Central in Dijon. In 1977, the Hotel Ibis Arquebuse was added to the family portfolio, which now goes by the name of the Ibis Dijon Gare. Then in 1980, the Hotel Mercure Dijon Centre Clémenceau opened its doors and was awarded its fourth star in 1997, a testament to the quality of service offered by our teams! In 1984, the Grand Hôtel La Cloche became part of the family business. It is one of the oldest hotels in Europe with its doors first opening back in 1424! Now with a 5-star rating, it forms part of the MGallery Collection.

An ever-expanding
portfolio

The Group’s success encouraged it to invest in new acquisitions and pursuing its momentum, it set out to conquer other towns in Burgundy: Beaune in 1988 with the Hotel Ibis Beaune-Sud La Ferme aux Vins, then Chalon-sur-Saône in 1992 with the Hotel Ibis Chalon-sur-Saône Europe. In 2005, the Jacquier family invested in the budget hotel sector to satisfy all their customer demands, opening an Ibis Budget and a B&B in Dijon. Two years later, the fourth hotel under the Ibis umbrella was opened with the Ibis Dijon Centre Clémenceau.

2014 saw the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Dijon-St Apollinaire. Then back to Chalon-sur-Saône in June 2015 with the opening of a new Ibis Budget. In February 2017, Caroline Jacquier created two establishments in one, with the opening of the Ibis Budget Dijon Centre Clémenceau within the Hotel Ibis Dijon Centre Clémenceau!

More recently, the Group has turned its attention to the Parisian market, with the opening of the Hotel Mercure Paris 17 Batignolles in 2018 and the opening of the Hotel Novotel Suites Paris CDG Airport Villepinte in 2020.
